01
Somewhere in your business, AI is ready to pay off. We'll help you find the best place to start.
02
We prove it on a real process in your business. Within weeks you're looking at the hours it saved and the revenue it generated.
03
The first win pays for the second: every process we take on makes the next one easier, because the AI already knows your business.

We use it too
Our own business runs on the same systems we build for you — backed by 25 years of software governments and enterprises depend on.
We don't take every business. First we interview you, find the return, and agree a price sized against it. Then we guarantee the result — hit the target or the work costs you nothing.

When a system is the bottleneck, we build you a better one — AI inside from day one, at a fraction of what software used to cost.

For businesses ready to become AI native, we work for equity, not fees. Your ambition, our build — we win together or not at all.

SSDev implements AI in established businesses. It starts with one short conversation — about twenty minutes, about how your business actually runs, no AI jargon. From that we identify the process where AI will pay off first, prove it with a pilot on your real data — against a guaranteed target, then build, host and manage the working system — and expand from there, one process at a time. You don't need any technical staff; we act as your AI team.
Automation repeats the same steps every time, and a chatbot only talks. An agent actually does the work: it reads the inbox, chases the late job, drafts the reply and updates the record, using judgement about how — the way a capable member of staff would. Agents can work with you interactively or run on their own on a schedule or a trigger.
You can, and some of your staff probably already do. What a tool on its own can't give you is everything that makes AI useful in your specific business — the context it needs, the memory it keeps, the connections into your systems and the controls that keep you in charge. That's what we build, run and manage for you.
You could — the way you could do your own audit. The problem is that AI changes monthly, so the expertise goes stale faster than any other specialism you could hire for, and one person can't stay current across agents, integrations, security and data while also building anything. The big providers won't fill the gap for a business your size: Microsoft's free implementation service requires 150 licences or more, and Google's answer for smaller businesses is free self-study courses. We are the version of that help that does turn up.
Businesses without their own development or AI team. Our best fits are owner-run companies where the leadership knows every process personally, in any industry — we've built for government, logistics, hospitality and professional services. Being small helps here. There's no committee to convince and no department protecting its patch, so you can decide on Monday and be running by the end of the month.
Yes — and it's worth asking the same question about where your data sits today. Most businesses have shared drives and mailboxes that someone who left years ago could still open. Safety comes from how a system is built, not from whether AI is part of it.
Your AI runs in its own private environment, set up for your business alone. Your data is never mixed with other customers' and never used to train anyone's models. Where it's stored, what the AI can reach and who can see what are all agreed with you at the start.
No. The underlying models come from the major AI providers under commercial terms that exclude training on customer data, and the systems we build keep your information inside your own environment on top of that.
Every action is logged, so you can see exactly what it did and why. Anything irreversible — sending an email, changing a record — waits for human approval until you decide otherwise. A single action can be undone without switching anything else off, and there is always an off switch that halts everything at once.
We interview you first, work out the return we can deliver, and agree a price sized against it — not billed by the hour, not licensed per seat. The target is agreed before we build, and if we miss it you pay nothing. The arrangement only makes sense for both of us when your return is a multiple of what you pay.
Before we build anything, we agree the target with you in plain numbers. The pilot runs on one real process with your real data — a process we pick carefully, somewhere a mistake wouldn't hurt you, never the part of your business you can least afford to get wrong. Before anything goes live you watch it work in a dry run — nothing sent, nothing changed, until you approve it. If we hit the target, you pay the agreed price. If we don't, you don't pay. That's why we qualify businesses first: we only take on work where we can see the return.
A pilot is typically live within weeks, and because it runs on your own data it usually shows real findings within days of switching on.
No. We work with the systems and data you already have, however messy they are. Making them usable by AI is part of what we do.
Not by default — we connect AI to the tools you already run, so nothing is migrated and nothing is ripped out. When one of your systems genuinely is the bottleneck, we can build you a better one; that's a separate conversation, and we'll tell you honestly which case you're in.
The goal is to grow revenue with the team you have, not to cut heads. Your people are trained as part of every engagement, so working with AI becomes a skill they own rather than a threat they fear.
Almost every failed AI project bolted a tool onto an unchanged process. We start from the process itself, redesign it around what AI makes possible, and stay involved through to daily use. That's the difference between a pilot that dies and a system that sticks.
